A Moment Friend

Just a moment my love,
distress has covered me
and stabbed me in a lung;
I must confess I’m less see?
Calm me down and possess
the incomplete duress I fess
up to some but mostly
I give up and get distressed.
Tell me heaven or hell
can give relief and be a thief.
I can tell myself I’m well,
and my life is my belief.
I want it more my friend,
lend a hand no longer pretend
that life is worth living
when you live in hellish sin.
Trapped within myself
I Lord over all that which I dwell.
Believe me my dear friend
there are times I need your help.
