Forbidden Thought

Forbidden thought
give way to my fancy
I am man who is
going to die one day.

What in creation
has me palpable feel
I do sad but I keep
fresh in pocket zeal.

Shall I ask a question
I think I maybe should.
I reflect upon it daily
and if I could I would.

Only for you my dear
do I pass the time high.
On this the thought of
innocent thoughts I cry.

Beauty is not a word I
could apply to you sweet
dove of the sky I am and
filled with dreams I weep.

Cut myself with a word
that found my vein feign
I do that I’m allright but
I am not I am to blame.

With the thought of
holding you up for God
to see my hurt it brings
me feelings I feel odd.

A complaint big surprise
I skid on a blaze I have ways
that help me doze off
I do for fun these days.

I want to fly up eternity
I swear to Lord above
I am endlessly enthralled
by a consuming love.

I’ll never share the thought
with another soul except you.
These words in ink my love
they will have to do.

I’ll keep going I know
routine and I live for the day
I see you happy in every
single breath and every way.
