Carnal Wounds

Take it slow now please time I need
for toxins out of my pores to bleed.

This body is a stout expense
and has been through pain relent.

Take your chains of judgement
they weigh me down and I’m bent.

I’m a book upon sight you read
my eyes and see a fighting breed.

I am broken in ways touch heals.
Hell I’ve been through you’ll feel.

In this night of doubt I’m vexed
by equations you try to correct.

I can not do it I am not a carnal soul,
I’ve got a heart and it needs love slow.

When I see lovely sight and curves
it does not for me sexually serve.

I need soft notions and gentle smiles
that say you’ll be with me for miles.

Feelings I’ve tried to numb to erase
the things I’ve done to find my place.

Is it you I don’t know I want to grow
with you healing in my bones my soul.

Bliss is just a bonus I want calm soon
for my soul escapes carnal wounds.

I need no need for desire and such.
Life is about more than just touch.

Weaponized sweat has taken its toll;
I won’t ever touch again without soul.
