Dream Of This

I know the time has taken over
and the time has grabbed me older.

I defy a reply to disguise my guise.
I junk the standard on that I rely.

Fold into the fold I know bolder
I’ve felt the breeze I have told her.

Everytime I dream my dream I wise
see the demon over and over in eyes.

The bliss I miss is a drift in the mist
of a drawn cut I only want to kiss.

The statues are colder than the rain
in the corners of a mind love’s reigned.

The effervescent violet flame I drift
in the sky in sin I lift I myself adrift.

Vain I pretend again the thin ice rips
open I often do dream of this.
