I Will Use Lightning

Swallow the purple of sky,
it changes so keep some with you.
The storms roll in so high
the rain falling gouges verbs I use.

Quiet is one and I am right
to say everyday is a struggle launched.
Loud is a struggle and fight
I will not with a devil so ensconced.

The words I use they confuse
what is felt from what I abuse.
Storms callous float to a throat
and the lightning I will use.

Loud is the thunder shudder
does my soul under fire of sky.
Mistaken shadows need a rudder
my mind it ciphers the lies.

I tell none is my affliction,
my tongue speaks from a brain
that is tainted with diction
that is soaked in an emotional rain.
