Inferno That I Know

I know I’ve learned
to cipher to be smart.
But this romance it
has grown into an art.

I want more but it is
a flame that consumes.
I ride this ride of fire,
I taste all the fumes.

What am I to do of this
little hope for a little kiss?
I’ve searched the world
for this kind of bliss.

A heart it dies each day
and mine won’t even
wake up my mind aware;
my sense is leaving.

Consumed by burn
I turn into someone else.
I’ve been contorted so I
hardly recognize myself.

Is this love I fall away
to ash my home is a grave
condition of splendid
ways that I misbehave.

I won’t be that one who
never said that I love you.
Even though before it is
done I know it’s through.

But for a moment I
want to blaze away fade
to the next world that
her and I have made.
