Hazy Sight

What love inspired broke me
and this cigarette lit I’ll fit
under this moon I still do sit;
my teeth I will angrily grit.

Maybe the fuel from grand
machinations will be as planned
for in this world how can
all this anguish really stand?

My love is varnished but I
will remain strong for home
where I know the glow will
keep me in a mood I condone.

There was a place once I knew
that was good in favor of God.
There was a place once I knew
that was good now turned odd.

The time keeps going around
the corner I see a wind it stirs.
I know of a place I keep calm
I try lace with soft warm words.

The wind spins around it gusts
while around corners run I must
learn the value you give to trust
that all will end and it will rust.

Fall down I see the particular type
of the ones we call out in spite.
Keep wise and keep we our eye
hazy late deep into the night.
