My Mother Earth

I found beneath a breath
of mother nature she sees
not my innocent heart or
any ailment or a disease.

Turn around dance we go
to a familiar boulevard;
our adventure starts we go
but drama makes it hard.

This world turning corner
after corner has me search
for the cure my affliction it
gives me what I am worth.

Kindle my heart I’ve wept
at landmarks dead gone.
What we’ve dug up we I’ll
put in a well worthy song.

Delicate my heart mother
these days aren’t like before.
Please dear green in trees
turn a page I try implore.

I am not pretty in a life all
fruit that’s pretty to see
is harvested by a world of
pain that’s turned routine.

‘Kindle my heart’ ….lovely! Almost pagan pageantry, thank you for sharing this.
