Suffer

Close my eyes I cry
but forward I overcome
the harvest of a beast
taken at some ransom.

Clarity at times flees
for the famine of
when again we find
we’re bruised enough.

I’ve got a kind spine
don’t break my stride.
Shall progress shall we
find ourselves collide?

Consume does evil
that the devil damned
the place where slayed
did Cain in this land.

Or the maybe foreign
is the Lord so I pay dues
for what a man in his
life may he choose.

Never condense sight,
never think I’m alright
as I sleep in this night
I shall stand I shall fight.

But I won’t suffer chaos
of a language that scoffs
at something I have lost
at my own great cost.
