Love Thick

I know a sorrow I see
the majesty of a blood
soaked mark that keeps
all safe from death’s flood.

Feel stripped and bled
and now I feel the sun.
I know the sorrow see
I see the wreck I’ve run.

I break bricks with iron,
I found the sound fine.
That came a destruction
down deep into my spine.

Terror of all I got I guess
for you to be entertained
I must spell out loudly all
times I have been pained.

Need be my Lord says she
who traveled far across the
battlefield where all blood
flows down like a raged sea.

Touch the dawn lightly girl
then feel compelled to spell
out all of your own hell;
the tales you tend to tell.

Seek a new day sad but look
at the bright side my crook
dear sweet my dear love took
all pain that life has shook.

Sweet love you’re strong too,
soft and kind embraced quick,
I’ll spoil a suffering child,
I’ll pour on love thick.

Applicable and dare i say, transubstantial. Provoking and soothing at the same time. Great piece.
