Inside These Lines

I tell you dear all torture
shall gleam and be as gold.
I can assess this stress
and be pushed to be bold.

We will feel so close love
and tender wishes are ours.
Our pound of hurt will lift
in the ink during the hours.

Stale air the circumference
has made a trail so close.
Tell me of your hurt friend
and let’s exercise your ghost.

All the membranes all matter
is a touch away remain stay;
when born I could try convey
torture has seen this face.

I want to live in early dawn
flowers in the morning mist.
So that I can see new creations
and the night I can drift.

Music can make me maiden
to a voyage to the edge of earth.
I shall reach my destination
so that I might prove my worth.

In the hills the flowers turn
as my steps come down firm.
I see a path I blaze every turn
I’ve made I’ve come to learn.

The spirits have assailed me,
I want to expel the ghoul
that turned blind all divine
and led me astray a fool.

I want to take all there is
and my pain too I want gone.
I find I find comfort here
in lines that I have drawn.
