Sheets Of A Coffin

I tried to leave you love
but the moments after
my eyes fell in despair
and I was void of laughter.
I am under these sheets
sleeping I am in a casket.
I love the damnation but
with you I was fantastic.
Follow me into the dark
my love meet me there.
My arms they are reaching
and my love I do care.
In this house I am now
filled with bourbon warm.
I drink it down gladly to
squander my great storm.
But the words your face
is buried in this grave too.
I am dead no longer but
sometimes these sheets bruise.
