In Your Darkened Sky

My dear I love all
of you even your fall.
Your seasons they call
to you and I’m in awe.
I love the melody of
what you consider love
in my dreams above
the darkened rough.
History will tell of us
as ones who did trust
beyond a time of rust
that falls into the dust.
Take a heart of hurt go,
feel the beat slow grow
as cupid bends his bow
we become what I know.
In your blackened sky
I cry to spend my mind,
to my blood let supply
ties that will let us bind.
