A Kiss Like This

I lie to myself and try
to handle with a grasp
the hands that I felt I
once before I fell fast.

Help me my love look
at the vast field of green.
I am colorless now I am
a color once before seen.

I break the cusp of water
from beneath where drown
do I everything that I have
ever in my hands found.

Look, light and softly I
think the look back was it.
The mist adrift I lift swift
with my hand now like this.

I want this candy but it is
toxic to my health so I guess
I’ll eat it anyway because
my whole life I have missed.

I eat this down and then I’ve
become alive and felt bliss.
Acid dropped it feels a lot
like your soft transgressing lips.
