What You See With Your Eyes

The wick has burned down
and the room it turns dim.
I look down at my hands they
write in ink of blood again.

I spawn a chrysalis birth
a word to take me away to fly
after I have changed so that
I appear pleasing to my eye.

But it is not and I’m the same.
I think you feel I try disguise
my intentions but I don’t so
read red words on paper dried.

My light it burns down wax,
that is my fuel to keep warm
is abundant in a world for the
vicious lies and cold storms.

The candle dies I’m in dark
places of my soul I let go.
What you see with your eyes
truly resides in my soul.

Yours Truly,

Jared

You’ve probably heard her already. As is the case with most of the songs I include in some of my content. I love all kinds of music and wish I could have a talent like Lindsey Stirling.

It’s okay River. I’ve been having some problems with WP as well. But it’s cool to see you River.
