Cure To Endure

Explode or erode,
die quick or slow.
I know not of a
heaven of gold.

No words are apt
no words describe
my hope and how
deep my faults hide.

A being summons
to provide us a cure.
We seek our own Christ
so we might endure.

All knowledge of what
is eternal is not here.
Hubris useless a wise
man knows his tears.

Certain I’m not a fool
but driven I dig deep;
evacuate transgression
so I might find sleep.

I’m proud to have air
in my lungs now let’s
enjoy a bliss together;
let us have no regret.

Climb mountains tall,
plunge in rapid rapids.
Let us twist about live
care free as if little kids.

I naive travel my skin
wrinkles as the clock
turns ever forward as
my trek it never stops.

Sincerely,

Jared

      🤣 I wish my employer felt the same about beards. I had to shave it but I kept it pretty tight. And thank you dear. You’re incredible too.
