Cupid threw me a curve in the air.
I was transfixed in an amazed stare.
But I know the world is black and white.
All good die and the lovely find spite.
But I know the world turned its back
on me so I blew a hole in me black.
Cupid sprayed a source of arrows
delivered from a crow unto sparrows.
The sun moved in an arc in the sky
and the moon moved tides in my eyes.
But I know the world I have seen age.
But I know the world as Cupid as a sage.
But I know the world I live fast anger
but I know a world in great danger.
So I will write a line or two to be true. Only truth knows that in life is a cruel blue.
